How to Use The Wix Email Marketing Tool to Create Email Marketing Campaigns

Wix Email Marketing is a free built in email marketing tool for your Wix Studio website that lets you easily create and send email campaigns and automated emails.

This guide will help you navigate the capabilities and features of the Email Marketing tool which can be managed directly from your Wix Dashboard.

How to Create and Send an Email Campaign with the Wix Email Marketing Tool

From the left hand menu on your site Dashboard, select Marketing then Email Marketing.

Select Edit Template to customise a template.

or

Select Start from Scratch.

The Email Campaign Editor will open on a new page where you can complete the following:

• Format your campaign

• Preview and test your campaign

• Save it as a template for future use

  
  

Select Next to add your Recipients and Next again to Send or Schedule your campaign.

How to Check Your Monthly Email Balance

The free email marketing plan includes 200 emails per month. This cap includes email marketing campaigns (sent or scheduled) and any emails sent using Wix automations.

From the left hand menu on your site Dashboard, select Marketing then Email Marketing.

Scroll down to Monthly balance on the right side of the page for your current balance or to upgrade your email marketing plan.

Your email balance is not deducted for:

• Sending a test email.

• Sending a transactional email (e.g. order confirmation, shipping confirmation, password reset).

• Sharing a campaign that has already been published.

How to Upgrade Your Email Marketing Plan

You will need to upgrade your plan if you want to:

• Increase your monthly email allowance (the free plan includes 200 emails per month).

• Remove Wix branding from your emails.

• Schedule emails in advance.

• Send emails from multiple email addresses.

• Share emails in web view with a custom domain URL.

From the left hand menu on your site Dashboard, select Marketing then Email Marketing.

Select Upgrade Plan from the top right of the page to compare plans and select the plan appropriate for your needs.

*Email marketing plans are separate from site plans (your site hosting and capabilities)

How to Import Your Mailing List to Wix From Another Email Marketing Platform

From the left hand menu on your site Dashboard, select Customers and Leads then Contacts.

Select Create New then Import from the top right of the page to upload your CSV file and match your CSV fields to your Wix contact fields.

To import your mailing list to Wix, you will need to have first exported it from your existing email marketing platform in CSV format.

How to Review Email Marketing Analytics and Reports

From the left hand menu on your site Dashboard, select Marketing then Email Marketing.

Scroll down to Email Marketing Campaigns and select the Check Stats Icon to access your campaign statistics.

For detailed reports of different data relating to your email marketing, select Analytics, then All Reports from the Dashboard.
